What is the Money Laundering Prevention Law?
Prevention of Money Laundering
The Prevention of Money Laundering (AML) and Financing of Terrorism (FT) is a series of measures and procedures that States have imposed on obliged entities, based on internationally derived policies, to try to prevent the introduction of illicitly generated money into their financial system.

Auditing firms, external accountants, or tax advisors.
Real estate developers and those who professionally carry out agency activities.
Services to third parties: forming companies or other legal entities.

Insurance companies, insurance brokers.
Lawyers, solicitors, or other independent professionals.

People who trade professionally in jewelry, precious stones or metals.
Obligations
- Develop a manual and a procedures policy that represents the due diligence measures that should be adopted.
- Appointment of a representative to the executive service of the commission for the prevention of money laundering.
- Document the risk analyses.
- Submit the adopted control measures to an annual review by an external expert.
- Develop a training plan.
