What is ISO 26001?
ISO 26001 – Guidance for Social Responsibility
ISO 26001 is an international standard that provides guidelines on the social responsibility of organizations. Unlike other management standards, ISO 26001 is not certifiable, meaning it does not grant a formal seal or certification. Instead, it focuses on making it easier for organizations of all types and sizes to integrate social responsibility into their strategy and daily operations, fostering a positive impact on society and the environment.
The main objective of ISO 26001 is to guide organizations in developing a culture of social responsibility. This involves adopting ethical practices that consider the impact of the organization’s decisions and activities on the social, economic, and environmental spheres.
